Karin Hill, Director of Operations
Karin Hill is a highly accomplished and versatile senior leader with 30+ years of experience across a wide range of mortgage lending functions including origination, credit policy and risk management, compliance, product development, policy and procedure development, operations, and capital markets. In addition she has considerable hands-on experience in managing, modifying and liquidating troubled asset portfolios during prior economic downturns as well as during challenging times the S&L industry. Hill has outstanding strategic leadership, team building, cross functional program and project management leadership and execution skills. She has led complex, cross functional teams responsible for developing and implementing organizational growth strategies through organic expansion and acquisitions; start up operations for mid to large regional institutions and large nationwide lenders. She has held several key positions at Washington Mutual Bank and American Savings over the past 18 years and was responsible for integrating product, credit policy and pricing functions for several major WaMu acquisitions. She served as the business lead for complex system conversions and transitions and was the Senior Strategist and Program Manager for development and implementation of Affordable and Emerging Market strategies. She managed the implementation of for the expansion of origination distribution channels. Hill was responsible for the expansion of consumer equity loan products to Home Loans origination channels and transition of end-to-end system support for Equity Lending (origination, automated credit decisioning, pricing and servicing systems). Karin holds a BA from St. Olaf College and an MA degree from Northwestern University.

Susan Borg, Consultant

Susan Borg has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage lending industry.  She has expertise in process analysis, change management, and organizational development and design experience with consistent commitment and innovation. She has experience in designing, leading and managing tactical details for strategic planning sessions, management meetings, and leadership conferences for smaller and larger groups up to 500 participants. Susan has worked with leading financial institutions including Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, Washington Mutual, and Fannie Mae. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), holds a Certificate in Organizational Development and Transformation, and received a B.A. from Hood College. She has additional professional training in Six Sigma, learning systems, team-building, group facilitation, and group process.

Donna Turpin, Consultant
Donna Turpin has held leadership positions in the mortgage lending industry since 1982 in operations, sales, business development, technology, and marketing. Working with Countrywide/KB Home Loans she was responsible for volume, productivity, quality and profitability for builder loan consultants and served as the key liaison to KB Builder. As an SVP for Countrywide Home Loans, Turpin managed northwest mortgage loan operations accountable for compliance, product, work flow, training and quality. She held an FVP position at Washington Mutual Bank as Business Systems Manager where she was responsible for strategic planning, business requirements and system development for the implementation of a new origination system.  She hired and directed a team of over 250 business, testing, training, technical analysts, and consultants to implement entire vision of origination process.  She was a VP managing sales system support for both Washington Mutual and American Savings Bank.  She attended the University of Northern Colorado.

Kim Yezbak, Consultant

Kim Yezbak is an executive-level mortgage lending professional with more than 26 years of experience and has managed top performing sales and operations teams leading in volume, productivity, quality and profitability.  As an SVP, Wholesale National Production Operations Channel Manager, Yezbak was accountable for management of the Wholesale Fulfillment Centers throughout the nation. Her responsibilities included development of a standard operating model, customer service, process development, quality management, and SOX compliance. She also held several other key positions at Washington Mutual. She served as a VP and Retail Home Loan Center Manager where she was responsible for managing loan consultants, developing sales strategies and marketing plans to increase production and market share that originated up to $650 million annually in residential home loans. She most recently worked with Countrywide Home Loans as the Wholesale Market Sales Manager responsible for productivity, profitability and quality. Throughout her career, Yezbak has provided leadership for major initiatives including acquisitions and integrations, technology design and development, and strategic planning. She holds a BA from Western Illinois University.
