Brenda K Boldridge, President 

Brenda Boldridge has worked in the mortgage financial services industry since 1982.  She has expertise in designing risk management policies, controls,  and structures.  She has held senior-level positions at major financial institutions including Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Washington Mutual, GE Capital Mortgage Services, Bank of America, and Citibank,.


Brenda Boldridge was part of the Chief Risk Officer Team for Fannie Mae and a VP for Credit Risk Oversight for the Single Family business.  She was responsible for leading a team that provided effective oversight of credit risk management for single-family mortgage credit exposures. She had oversight for compliance with the principles established in the Corporate Credit Risk Policy including ensuring businesses put in place policies, limits, and procedures to implement sound credit risk management practices; reviewing risk reporting to assess risk levels against established limits to identify emerging credit risk trends proactively; validating the appropriateness of risk/return metrics and models; and evaluating the credit risk profile of the single-family business including the appropriateness and completeness of risk limits and risk/return metrics.

 

At Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Boldridge was an SVP managing Credit Policy & Performance where she identified and quantified credit risk exposures; implemented risk mitigation and risk retention solutions, while maintaining a competitive position in the market. She developed, managed, measured, and monitored credit risk policies and performance throughout the company’s business cycle; managed enterprise-wide delegation of authority and controls; and ensured accurate execution of policies and controls. Prior to her Credit Policy role, she served as a VP managing Retail Credit Administration responsible for decision quality for the business throughout the country.  

 

Prior to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Boldridge served as an SVP, Product Development/Management and an SVP, Credit Policy and Credit Administration for Washington Mutual Bank.  Working for GE Capital Mortgage Services, she held several key positions including VP, Global Outsourcing; VP, European Operations Integration; VP, Origination/Operations; and VP Risk Management.   At Bank of America she  held VP positions in  Credit Risk Management, New Business Production, Group Product Management. Boldridge worked at Citibank and manged production and regional processing. 

 

Boldridge has a master of arts in human resources and management from the University of Kansas and a bachelor of arts in social work Ottawa University.  She completed professional development education and training including global economics, six sigma quality management, and mergers/acquisitions mangement.
